CSU now offering classes in West Point
Columbus State University professors are now teaching a variety of courses in downtown West Point. CSU combines small classes with caring faculty, tutors and access to computers to maximize the success of students.
Courses offered support the following career-focused areas:
- Communication
- Computer science
- Criminal justice
- General business
- Teacher education
- Educational leadership (Graduate-level courses!)
Courses are scheduled for evenings, Saturdays, online, and in mini-sessions to accommodate working students.
The West Point site is conveniently located for students who reside in Troup and Harris counties. Also, in-state tuition is now available for nearby Alabama residents of Chambers, Russell and Lee counties.
Administrators and faculty do as much as possible to assist students with enrollment, financial aid and advising to minimize or eliminate the need to travel to the main campus in Columbus.
Some students take advantage of the course offerings in both Columbus and West Point, particularly when a course may be unavailable on main campus. (It’s only a 35-mile drive.)
